Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) sealed a Top 2 finish in the IPL 2025 standings with a six-wicket win over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Chasing a competitive total, Virat Kohli scored a composed half-century, while captain Jitesh Sharma brought up his maiden IPL fifty. Their performances, along with a solid contribution from Mayank Agarwal, guided RCB to a comfortable win.
Earlier, LSG rode on captain Rishabh Pant’s stunning unbeaten century, scored off just 54 balls, supported by Mitchell Marsh’s quickfire 67 off 37 deliveries. However, their combined effort wasn’t enough to stop RCB’s playoff charge.

🏏 RCB to Face PBKS in Qualifier 1
With this win, RCB will face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Qualifier 1. PBKS booked their top spot with a commanding seven-wicket victory against Mumbai Indians, thanks to impactful knocks from Priyansh Arya (62 off 35) and Josh Inglis (73 off 42).

Captain Shreyas Iyer finished the chase with a six off Trent Boult, staying unbeaten on 26.
